In 2014, computer engineer and attorney, Tearra Vaughn, decided to embark on a journey rooted in her skin care challenges, love of cosmetics, and desire to develop confidence in others. She created REIMAGE® Beauty ("REIMAGE") in response to her inability to find healthy cosmetics in the marketplace suitable for her sensitive skin. Tearra recognized that a positive self-image is a driver to achieving personal and professional goals, so she set out on a mission to remove the unhealthy self-images that many women and girls struggle with on a daily basis through smart cosmetics. Tearra wants all females to thrive while confidently accepting and embracing the beauty of their own skin.
Tearra Vaughn leads with humility, grace, and style welcoming the opportunity to empower others. She has been featured by The Limited (a national chain offering clothing & accessories for women) as the brand’s national cover leader for the “New Look of Leadership” campaign, a campaign that highlighted 30 women leaders in the Midwest.
Her credentials include a J.D. (Doctor of Jurisprudence) from Indiana University-Bloomington and a B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) in Computer Engineering and Management of Technology from Vanderbilt University, as well as admission to multiple state bars and the U.S. Patent and Trademark bar. Prior to founding REIMAGE, Tearra practiced intellectual property law at global Am Law 100 law firms. Outside of the office, Tearra is a public speaker encouraging women and girls to pursue their goals.
