Rachel Geicke & Mariana Ferreira started Snow Monkey as Boston University undergrads in 2016. As college athletes with multiple food allergies, traditional ice cream defied their nutritional and dietary needs. But they were in an unhealthy relationship with ice cream and would indulge regardless. Upon recognizing that they weren't the only ones in this unhealthy relationship, the duo set out to create a delicious and nutiritious alternative. Rachel and Mariana took a bunch of superfoods, fruits and seeds, turned it into a frozen superfood blend fit for an athlete and called it Snow Monkey. Snow Monkey is a vegan, paleo ice treat that is free of all major allergens and has 21 grams of protein per pint.  Packed with protein, antioxidants and fiber, it's smooth like ice cream with flavors to die for!
At Snow Monkey, we believe nutritious should be delicious and that our bodies deserve intelligent fuel.  We like to say we reinvented ice cream—think of Snow Monkey as the high performance model. Since its inception in Boston, the company has moved to Los Angeles and is on a mission to change the way people eat by reimagining staple favorites as delicious fuel for a healthy life, sparking a movement where all people have access to affordable food that is great for us and great for the environment.
