Kristy Lewis set out to reinvent microwave popcorn and created a snack food company that is simple, honest and transparent. Her passion and innovation led to the first (patent pending) chemical-free compostable microwave popcorn bag, with healthy oils and organic kernels.  Next she launched “Farm-to-Bag” popcorn which provides consumers with complete ingredient transparency, another first in the snack category.  Recently, Quinn Snacks launched a pretzel line that establishes many firsts for pretzels: first whole grain line, first ancient grain, corn-free, soy-free, dairy-free, non-GMO project verified gluten-free pretzel.  Quinn went from an attic start-up to one of the fastest growing brands in her categories.

Kristy’s innovation has been recognized for shaping the future of natural food products and has won multiple packaging and product awards.  Kristy was on Fortune’s 2015 Top Most Promising Women Entrepreneurs List, the first from the food industry to make the list in four years, and Quinn Snacks was chosen by Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery as 2017 Snack Producer of the Year for its revolutionary new products.  Kristy has shared knowledge and food start-up experience and entrepreneurship challenges on national and local networks and has been interviewed for major national and food publications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The New School.
