Karen, Jess and Shannon met as graduate students at the University of Oregon. They came up with the idea for Red Duck in brainstorming ideas for a class project. Over a basket of tater tots, they realized they were frustrated with the condiment space because many conventional sauces had lots of preservatives and other junky ingredients while organic offerings delivered a lackluster flavor experience. They set out to be better and inspire fun in food through their line of organic condiments. Red Duck is a Certified B Corporation® and their products bring an artisan approach to whole, honest ingredients while offering a unique, unexpected twist on familiar flavors. Sourcing organic ingredients and ensuring the quality and integrity of their products has always been one of their highest priorities. But Red Duck also believes in playing an active role in the communities they are a part of, be it local, national or worldwide.
