Gina Nigrelli-Smith Founder, Jules Smith
As founder of Jules Smith jewelry Gina Nigrelli-Smith has forged a dynamic brand with a uniquely inspired identity. A former ballet dancer and fashion editor, Nigrelli-Smith studied at NYU in the heart of Greenwich Village. With New York as her backdrop, Nigrelli-Smith crafted a style of her own that is bold, indie and most importantly, authentic to her gypsy soul.
While pouring her creative energy into building her jewelry brand, Nigrelli-Smith still found time to partner with her husband to launch their wine label, Loca Linda, “Crazy Beautiful” in Spanish. Their shared passion for achieving crazy beautiful in their own lives and obsession with travel has led them all over the world gathering inspiration for their individual brands. A connection with the sun and sand, and desire to raise their family in an eclectic beach community, the pair left NYC and settled on the shores of Venice Beach with their son Nico and daughter Ruby.
A lover of all things vintage, Nigrelli-Smith frequents artist and flea markets. Her natural bohemian style permeates her jewelry designs, her home, and her personal style. Her collections draw inspiration from a love of juxtaposing luxe details and architectural lines with organic shapes and unexpected nods to the past.
Now, Nigrelli-Smith balances motherhood with the fashion world, all while maintaining her status as a style icon. Whether designing in the studio, commenting on style onscreen, or sharing her experiences as a woman in business, she is consistently on the go in search of her next inspiration.
