When you think of improving your health, what activities come to mind? Exercising? Eating better? Sure, these are go-tos, and they’re great. Do you ever think about taking a hard look at your makeup? Lindsey Diamond did it for you.
“I started Araza Natural Beauty with the pure desire to get women using healthy beauty products, embrace their natural beauty AND live inspired, healthy and purposeful lives,” Lindsey said.
Lindsey is the founder of Araza Natural Beauty, the first Paleo-certified makeup line. Lindsey was already all about healthy living; she owns and operates a fitness studio in Boise. When she was diagnosed with celiac disease, she had to make changes in her diet. Seeing the incredible improvements eating differently brought to her life, she started to look at other health-influencing aspects of her day to day.
It wasn’t long before she was tossing her moisturizer, foundation, and a plethora of other products. She had a hard time finding worthy replacements. Lindsey’s background in exercise science gave her an understanding of anatomy, and she connected the dots…our skin is our largest organ, and part of its physiological duties include absorption. It was time to feed skin something to increase health, not harm it. Araza Natural Beauty was launched.
Lindsey was joined in the business by her sister, Jennifer Lindberg. Jen also has celiac disease, and embracing the products and the mission of Araza Natural Beauty was, well, a natural choice.
The sisters chose to manufacture Araza in a small US-based facility. Araza products are free of parabens, gluten, preservatives, phthalates, Triclosan, and artificial fragrances and colors. As Lindsey says, “It’s all about clean and simple ingredients.”
Araza sells via its website and offers an affiliate and brand ambassador program.
