Founder Feature: Janie Cook & Caroline Nix

They say everything is bigger in Texas: big hair, big hats, big cars, and now, Big Os, courtesy of Janie Cook and Caroline Nix, founders of O-Venture.

University of Texas alums Caroline and Janie are all about making women’s lives easier. That’s the story behind the creation…and wild success…of their signature Big O key chain/bracelet. Counting the minutes (okay, let’s be honest, hours) lost to searching for car keys in overburdened purses can be a shocking experience. Since most women do not have oodles of free time in their days, snatching those wasted moments back from daily key-unearthing is a surprisingly significant boon to the average multitasking mom.

Janie and Caroline recognized that Big Os would inevitably find their way into the mouths of babes, as little ones seem to have a preternatural fascination with keys. That led to their decision to make these key chains not only beautiful, but safe. They’re made with food-grade silicone and are designed to last a very long time, no matter what comes their way.

O-Venture and the Big O have enjoyed incredible press, with the other Big O, Oprah Winfrey, weighing in favorably. Instore Magazine put the Big O and other “occessories” on its hotlist of business-boosting products.

Big rOund of applause for O-Ventures!
