Jamie Snydel’s lightbulb moment occurred as she was vacuuming the one millionth chia seed from her kitchen floor. She’d been concocting a 42-ingredient smoothie from an Instagram recipe when her mega-bulk bag of chia seeds fell over and showered its contents hither and yon.
Jamie had a MAJOR case of the “there’s gotta be a better way” blues at that very moment.
An idea took hold. Why not put the healthiest smoothie ingredients into an easy-to-use, pre-portioned packet that can be mixed with the fruit and liquid you love? Include super sources of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. And why not call it what it is – Simplified Superfoods?
Turns out, that is a GREAT idea, and Jamie’s superfood smoothie packets are a hit. She’s leveraged Simplified Superfoods’s reach to pursue another passion, the MHERchant Giving Project, a payment processing solution that helps female-founded businesses donate to charities that benefit women and children. Currently, Simplified Superfoods is giving back to two Chicago-based nonprofits, Purple Asparagus, an elementary school nutrition program, and Imerman Angels, a mentorship organization for people with cancer.
Weaving her businesses together allows Jamie to spend her time and energy on those things that really matter to her. That’s part of the reason she joined The F Project.
“We are better together. Community and collaboration are the two best tools to support female founders.”
