Adi Arezzini kicked ass in the Israeli army as a combat fitness instructor. But her own ass was getting kicked by horrible digestion problems.
What to do? Blend tea and make a multi-million dollar business of it, that’s what.
Research into digestive health led Adi to buy a lot of teas that just weren’t cutting it. She started concocting her own brews and soon had a healthy GI system.
“The quality of our premium loose leaf tea is unlike any other tea brand out there and that is why our results speak for themselves. When I started Teami I wanted to ensure that my products really WORKED, so I spent a lot of time on testing and quality control,” Adi recalled.
Adi Arezzini did not grow up with a silver (tea)spoon in her mouth, and her company had humble beginnings as well. She started Teami while she was living with her mom. She had a hundred samples of her tea blends in her bedroom, and a thermal label printer.
“I think that the essence of my childhood made me a natural born hustler. Growing up in a very low income family and raised by a single mom, I had to start earning my own money at the age of 9. The need to survive was my motivation from a very young age and I knew that if I wanted to break the cycle and have a different life than the one my mother had, I had to work hard and fight for it,” Adi said.
Adi has worked hard to grow the business. From the initial offerings of a detox pack, Teami has expanded to skincare and wellness products inspired by the health benefits of tea.
“We take a 360 approach to wellness and try to help our customers with whatever they need at different stages in their lives,” Adi said.
What prompted Adi to join The F Project?
“I wanted to have a community of women that are all hustling after their dreams. When starting or running a business you can often feel like the world is imploding around you when things go wrong...and then you realize that that is just the essence of running a business. Things are going to get HARD, stakes are going to get HIGHER the bigger you get and sometimes you are going to make HUGE mistakes. But knowing that there is a community of women that are all going through it...is a total gamechanger.
“I also want to make sure that I give REAL, genuine advice to other women who need guidance. I have a female mentor who has been running her business for over 20 years and she has helped me so much through the process, even when it’s just listening to me. I want to help be that person for other women starting out,” Adi affirmed.
We’ll raise a cup of tea to the hustle!
