Tiffany Taylor’s aha moment was watching her dear friend, undergoing chemo and fighting for her life, find nourishment in a pre-portioned organic smoothie.
When someone is ill, we do what women have always done; we help out with meals. Often, the food is really for the family members because the sick person just can’t eat…even though she really needs to get some nutrition.
Seeing her cancer-stricken friend able to drink a super healthful smoothie was a joy to Tiffany, and sparked the idea that turned into Blendtopia, her superfood smoothie kit company.
The smoothie kits come in eight combinations named for their purposes: Detox, Immunity, Strength, Energy, Awake, Refresh, Glow, and Clean. Ingredients are diverse, from cucumber to fair trade cold brew coffee to goji berry powder.
Since launching in 2015, Blendtopia has earned retail space in Whole Foods, Wegmans, Earth Fare, and more. The company debuted at the Expo West in the Hot Products Pavilion in 2018, and enjoys robust revenue growth and a surging brand ambassadorship program.
Remembering the moment that inspired her to create Blendtopia, Tiffany said, “The story of a brand’s beginning almost always starts from a place of passion and a founder’s energy is the driving force behind it…Our story began with a mission and we plan to continue to be a mission-driven company.”
